Advanced Manufacturing Resources
Founded in 1966 Elastomer Engineering operates from a purpose built production
plant strategically sited close to the motorway network, in Lymm, Cheshire,
England.
From the outset we have consistently invested in advanced technology to ensure
manufacturing efficiency and product quality. Our extensive range of press
moulding equipment includes the latest microprocessor controlled injection and
compression machines, all built to our own exacting specifications. Our
comprehensive raw material preparation facility boasts an equally advanced
range of mills, extruders and precision pre-forming equipment.
In response to market demand, rubber to metal bonding has become an
increasingly important aspect of our operation and here again, we are suitably
equipped. The specialist metal treatment department houses a modern vapour
degreasing plant, media blasting and bonding agent application facilities.
Such sophisticated resources enable us to maintain our position at the
forefront of rubber moulding and bonding technology.
Quality Assurance
To ensure consistent product performance and reliability we have implemented a
rigorous quality assurance regime at our production plant. This involves
frequent quality checks at every stage of manufacture, from the development and
testing to final product inspection and dispatch.
Our efforts in this direction have been rewarded by approval to BS EN 9002
specification. We are also formally recognised as approved sub contractors by
such leading organisations as British Aerospace, Thomson-Marconi and GKN
Westland Helicopters.
As such we are in a position to meet the most demanding quality requirements
across our complete manufacturing range.
