On your premises, Nu-Swift personnel will... • locate all fire extinguishers • acquaint themselves with all other escape routes • identify any additional and high risk areas	4. At the start of the service, our engineers will... • work in an unobtrusive manner • keep the area clean and tidy • service in accordance with current British Standards

5. During the visual inspection, our engineers will... • clearly identify the model and type. • ensure the extinguishers are safe to service. • check the extinguishers have no external damage.	6. During the internal inspection, all Nu-Swift engineers will check the extinguishers for... • signs of corrosion. • lining and thread wear. • correct the mass/level.	7. During the operational inspection, our engineers will check the extinguishers... • hose and head assembly. • striker mechanism and safety devises. • pressure charge or gauge.	8. During the final inspection, our engineers will... • reassemble the extinguisher to ensure it is safe, reliable and efficient in a fire. • re-seal and complete the maintenance label. • re-position the extinguisher. • check the extinguisher's conformity to current British Standards.

			Included in your inspection visit, you will have assistance to help you with a Fire Risk Assessment of your premises in accordance with the Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations (as amended 1999).   We also offer a FREE staff training talk on the use of your extinguishers, please ask your Nu-Swift Representative or Engineer for further details.
9. All Nu-Swift engineers will then make a report to... • highlight the condition of the fire equipment on the premises. • locate the position of all the fire extinguishers. • highlight any associated risks from the inspection.	10. Our engineers will then... • explain the report in plain simple terms. • give clear, concise advice. • carry out any necessary staff training, which will cover: -extinguisher location and operation -type and suitability of the extinguishers on the premises -explain escape procedures.	11. On leaving the premises, all Nu-Swift engineers will... • remove all discarded materials. • advise the customer that they are leaving the premises. • leave a contact number for future reference.
