Fire Extinguishing Trades Association
QUALITY ASSURANCE

We believe that quality is of vital importance in all aspects of Fire Extinguisher Maintenance. It is our intention to maintain our position of quality in the market by supplying the best products and services that we can offer. We are audited by British Standards to BS EN ISO 9002: 1994.

We endorse the need to work within the FETA (The Fire Extinguishing Trade Association) Code of Conduct with the aim of satisfying all our customers needs.

As a BAFE registered company we support and comply with the BAFE Technicians Scheme. Our comprehensively trained Service Engineers are not only independently checked by B.S.I. Assessors but also have to gain a certificate of competence from the industry's own association FETA which is the only certification body to which the British Standards Institution endorses the passing of the examination as satisfying the training clause of BS EN ISO 9002: 1994.

BAFE APPROVED

British Approvals for Fire Equipment BAFE was formed in 1984 with the aim of replacing the multiplicity of approvals required and to promote Quality, Reliability and Performance.

The manufacture and maintenance of portable fire extinguishers under BAFE schemes has two parts, an appropriate Technical Standard or Code of Practice and a Quality Assurance Standard BS EN ISO 9002: 1994.

To meet and maintain the requirements of registration the Company is subject to ongoing surveillance by BSI assessors.

British Approvals for Fire Equipment (BAFE) is a non-profit making organisation whose primary objective is to raise and maintain standards of quality in active fire protection equipment and services. It attempts to persuade suppliers to submit to assessment and certification and buyers to specify and demand equipment and services by BAFE approved manufacturers and BAFE registered firms.

The Fire Extinguishing Trades Association is The Trade Association of manufacturers and maintainers of portable fire fighting equipment including extinguishers hose reels and fittings. Established in 1916 it is a non-profit making organisation funded by membership subscription.
